Based on the 2001 novel of the same name by Trisha R Thomas, Nappily Ever After sees lead character Violet Jones struggling to balance her seemingly perfect life when Violet 'liberates' herself by shaving all of her hair off.
Sanaa Lathan was joined by Gabrielle Union for the movie's premiere at the Harmony Gold Theatre.
Netflix released the much anticipated Nappily Ever After on Friday September 21, 2018.
