Modern Florals and Indian Traditions for a California Bride and Groom

The time honored rituals of a traditional Indian wedding were beautifully executed by this California bride and her groom who said "I do" in front of family and friends at Newhall Mansion in the historic town of Piru, California. The ceremony perfectly displayed the couples love for each other with the bride and groom fully adorned in the traditional clothing, designs and colors for this symbolic event.

In an Indian wedding, preparation for the bride includes a Mendhi ceremony where her hands and feet are adorned with intricate henna designs. While it is also tradition that during the ceremony, the couple exchange garlands as a symbol of acceptance of each other.

And of course, no wedding is complete without a party! The couple's guests celebrated the joining of these two newlyweds outdoors, in the oversized patio of the spacious Newhall Mansion, set under the clear California sky. The tabletop centerpieces included a mix of bright and blush pink roses, lisianthus and wax flower with seeded eucalyptus.
