This Oscar season Oldvine Florals was commissioned to design a full scale floral wall, elegant photo op installation, floral centerpieces and bar arrangements for the acclaimed rapper/actor Common's 5th annual Toast To The Arts. The annual event honoring nominees Ruth Carter, Regina King, Amanda Stelberg, Chloe Zhao and Rashida Jones took place at Hollywood hot spot Ysabel.

Flower Wall: Oldvine Florals
Building out the 12" by 8" floral wall was no small feat. The Oldvine Florals team decorated the wall with vibrant Red Explorer roses, deep purple Lisianthus and lemon leaf. The featured florals were selected because of their rich color and sustainability.

The Oldvine Florals team also designed an elegant floral installation for the events photo booth. The photo op design included three large round reflexed Red Explorer arrangements. The reflexed Red Explorer roses were fastened inside of a LOMEY dish and set atop clear cylinders to give the illusion of florals floating in mid-air.

And finally, the bar arrangements and centerpiece arrangements were strategically designed with a mix of hearty and delicate florals. The hand-picked garden rose with it's light and delicate petals was the focal floral. Each garden rose was placed next to a hearty multi-layered heart rose with purple lisianthus and clematis plucked throughout. This floral recipe made for a rich and regal stand out floral design that wow'd.
