When recurring client Blavity hosts an awards brunch they really go all out! Especially, when the brunch is held at Downtown L.A.'s newest event space Valentine-Marvimon and honors rising stars like comedian and actor Rel Howery and actress Tetona Jackson, the star of the new BET series Boomerang.
When it's time to select the types of florals to design with for our events, we always consider the space. Valentine-Marvimon's wood panel walls and green house feel, meant it was only fitting that we incorporate lots of leafy greens with hearty florals throughout our designs.

After much deliberation (sort of), the design team at Oldvine Florals decided to go with rustic magnolia leaves and bright and bold red amaryllis as the focal florals for the centerpieces. Each arrangement was designed in sleek clear vases with bottle necks that lent to the stripped down feel of the venue.

But the fun doesn't stop there, in addition to centerpiece arrangements, Oldvine Florals was commissioned to design a partial floral arch for a bespoke photo-op area. The 7 foot arch was a dramatic floral moment that called for a few hundred magnolia tips and several dozen stems of amaranth blended together for a bold statement piece.
